A lake home done well opens fully to the water, stays comfortable in February, and doesn't need to be chased with repairs every spring. That comes from deep overhangs, corrosion-rated hardware, storm-rated glazing, properly detailed roof assemblies, and an air-tight envelope — all of which are harder and more specific than standard residential construction.
